Pennie Lynn

Pennie Lynn Daugherty was born on August 3, 1982 in Oklahoma City, OK to Boyd Haskell and Georgia Marcella (Edwards) Lasiter. She passed away on September 28, 2022 in Watonga, OK at the age of 40.

Pennie was raised in and attended Watonga Public Schools. Pennie worked as a dispatcher for Blaine County and later worked as a reserve officer for Blaine County and Okeene Police Department. She also worked as a 911 dispatcher for some other counties as well, Major, Kingfisher, and Custer Counties. Pennie enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. She attended the First Christian Church in Watonga, OK. Pennie was awarded the “Bulldog Award” through Women in Law Enforcement; she loved helping people and definitely had a heart for helping.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Daugherty of Watonga, OK, her children: Andrea Craig of Watonga, OK, and Jaycie Daugherty of Watonga, OK; her grandmother, Dixie Williams of Geary, OK; her twin sister, Jennie Weaver and husband, Randy, of Corn, OK;, her brothers, Boyd Lasiter and wife. Cindy. of Hobart, OK, and Larry Lasiter of Anadarko, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Pennie was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd “Red” and Georgia Lasiter, her brother, Cody Lasiter, her grandfather, Gary Williams, and her great-grandmother, Grace Debaun.

Services were held at the Watonga Christian Church, Wednesday, 2 p.m, on October 5, 2022, Watonga, OK. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Adam Lovitt

Burial: Watonga IOOF Cemetery, Watonga, OK
